Decision making....

Edwards, two times late in the last quarter, goes short on his non preferred side when clearly the game called for a long ball to Hentschall one out. Thats one example. We consistently cough the ball up at half forward because we go for a short option. Whats wrong with what we were doing earlier in the season - pumping the ball long into Ricciutto, Hentschall, MacGregor etc and crumbing with Bode and or Porplyzia???

It's driving me nuts watching them cough the ball up at the moment - poor skills but even poorer decision making (or is that "game plan").

I reckon if we'd played a long game yesterday we'd have beaten the Bulldogs. I'm not talking about just bombing it long, but using tactical long kicking to break the flood. Man for man I think our forwards could have kicked a winning score against the Bullies backline with faster movement of the ball.
I agree, the chip chip tempo rubbish costs us at present. The opposition always gets numbers back making it hard/impossible to get thorugh the traffic.
