From that list, connect four. So simple yet so addictive!!!!! Other faves are Monopoly and Cluedo. I remember when I was 10, I saved up the whopping amount of $30 to buy my very own Monopoly set. LOL

I went with Chess, i rule at that game. But it is an in justice that Monopoly was not included, Monopoly is the greatest board game ever!!!

By the way has anyone ever played the AFL board game? I saw it in Target the other day, looks interesting.

Chess for me, though I also love chinese checkers, monopoly & squatter.

Honourable mentions to Green Ghost, Mousetrap and Beat The Eight Ball (the last one I suppose not really being a board game).

Risk isn't bad, but it is still poor man's Diplomacy.

Yea mate I have that game, I havent played it for about 4 months but the questions in that game range from easy - hard.

lol, I used to play at pogo.com too - at BINGO! But that was ages ago...
To board games, you can't beat the good old snakes and ladders, plus I'm not too bad at Ludo, Panic and in my younger days 'Trouble' with those poppermatic things.

I hate games with luck.
I cant stand games that involve luck.
I love my checkers and reversi.
the only reason I put backgammon down there is because its got skill involved.

The Game of Life (Milton Bradley) is the single worst abomination of a game ever made.

Not only does it involve absolutely NO SKILL (you go where the dice tells you - whatever decision you make makes no difference), some of its outcomes are JUST STUPID.

I mean who ever heard of getting a financial bonus for having MORE KIDS. That is about the most stupid thing that I've ever heard of. KIDS COST!

I would rather sit through rugby league than play Game of Life. It is the most ******ed excuse for a waste of time ever - and having highly crafted plastic buildings you like cannot hide the fact.
