but a NSW politician make an executive decision to override the public vote naming a ferry Ferry McFerry Face (copying the original UK event) despite the public voting for Dawn Fraser or something. Falsely claiming that was the public vote.
Comfortably the dumbest thing a politician has done in my memory. No upside, just stupidity. Normally when pollies do something stupid, you can at least see what they were trying to do.
