What does it mean when you go on holiday? I need to find a team I enjoy playing with. Started about 6 different games lately and still can't get into one.

Yeah got mine for free last year as a gift, have racked up about a month of play time lol.

I've stuck with the same save throughout my whole career though. Knew absolutely nothing about soccer when I first started and now I have a pretty good grasp of it. I picked a completely random league 2 team to start with, Bradford, and was pretty shit at the game at the beginning. Had a good run of results but 5 5-0 losses in a row led to me getting the sack before my first season was over :(

Spent a few months on holiday before getting the Victory job. Discovered 3 wonderkids in 1 youth intake, all of them now play for Australia and are guns. Got sacked from Victory for being average at my job. Went through a period of really shit clubs with no funds and high expectations, so I went on holiday for ages.

Now I'm at Darlington, finally got a grip of the game. Check out FM-Base for formations and lists of good players if you get stuck.

Gee Dub, going on holiday basically means you let the assistant take over, and you can set it so you return at a specific date or a specific event happens. I usually only do it if I hate my current club and set it to stay on holiday until I get a good job offer.

Currently in the year 2020, I spend more time on FM than I do in RL and am probably now the biggest loser I know.

I also went on a save game as Arsenal which was fun. Starting with lower league teams can be more of a challenge, but accomplishing shit makes you feel like you've just won a world cup or something, whereas playing as richer clubs can offer more freedom, and the difference in quality of games played is pretty big. Signed Hazard with Arsenal and went on to destroy the world.

So does going on holidays affect your job security? I feel like I'm cheating if I see a gun player on a forum or a good formation. And can you play online against people? I swear I saw that you could.

Played a bit of mixed netball in my time. My passion for netball first started in primary school when I was forced to play after missing out on a place in the soccer team. WA is fun. Usually had to play GK though because of my long arms.

Depends how good your assistant manager is, if the team does shit while you're away you could be sacked before you get back.

Yeah there's an option for network play where you can have a game with as many people as you want. It can slow the game down though if you're waiting for someone else to do all their stuff.
