So it seems as though Cold and Flu night tablets have the opposite effect on me.

They are meant to make you drowsy and promote a good sleep. Instead, I'm bloody buzzing 3 hours later and unable to get to sleep at all. Should be up for work in around 6 hours.

Of course, my logic should be questioned since I am trying to sleep yet am A) on Bigfooty and B) Seeking medical advice on Bigfooty (well not quite, but...I'm going to try and sleep again now).

I've found reading your long winded posts to be a good method for drowsiness :D

Good night okeydoke7 sweet dreams

I tried a new cold and flu day and night tables recently and the night ones also had the reverse effect, no sleepiness at all.

I have never had the effect of drowsiness or sleepiness from any medication except for Endone. That is one hell of a drug.
That stuff is ******* awesome... i had a plate put in my hand a few years back and they gave me Endone and Panadeine Forte... the Panadeine would just knock me out within 10 minutes.. the Endone I could sleep or I could just be awesome

Beat day ever was on Endones all day for day 1 of the ashes when Siddle took his hat trick

Wouldn't the opposite effect of a cold and flu tablet be to actually give you a cold or flu?

Just nitpicking...

Isn't that what a flu shot does? Gives you a small strain of the flu or something and then your body builds up the antibodies or whatever they are to fight it
A flu shot injects some dead flu cells into your body so that the antibodies and your immune system can build up a tolerance towards it, and know what they have to do to fight it off.

So essentially you're right.

He's right but it has nothing to do with a cold and flu tablet.

Let's just say we're both right and okey is wrong.

Nothing at all to do with a cold and flu tablet :thumbsu:

I just have a habit of just typing whatever I am thinking about sometimes.... relevant or not

Im usually one of those guys that has a chuckle everytime I see someone have a whinge on facey about dealing with Telstra for hours with little to no help. In the past ive found dealing with them quite smooth.

Well **** me that changed today. Spent 40 minutes on hold this morning before the line cutting out. Then decided to try the 24/7 chat online which was working and after another 40 minutes they decided that as it was for a business account they couldn't really look that far into it for me. So back on the phone for another 40 minutes to find out the phone line I thought was working had been disconnected for 18 months

Im sorry if I ever laughed at any of you for Telstra problems :)

I started watching Season 2. It's pretty bad. I got halfway through and haven't finished it.
I've watched season 1 about 4 times in my life now from memory and only season 2 once, mostly cause I could never find it again. I'm gonna sit through it all mostly for Adventures Season 3 when it comes out in June

They do that to me but it's because of another medication I take. It's what I imagine taking speed would be like. That is, if you took speed to relieve nasal congestion.

For the second time in my life I've moved into a property only to be told there is no existing phone connection and I have to pay a hell of a lot of money to get one installed.
Who the f*** in this day and age doesn't have a phone connection? Even if you don't need a landline, ever heard of the internet? What is going on with these people!
