Lucy has been one of the most polarising critiqued movie that has come out for a while.

I haven't seen it, but I think it comes down to what you expect going into the movie.

Don't expect it to be some sort of, thought provoking movie, and more of an action one.

In the Heat of the Night (1967) - Wasn't overly impressed by this film despite my understanding of how it would have been important at the time. There were solid performances from a quality cast but it felt a bit uneven. What was impressive was the gritty picture of a prejudiced Southern town that was created. 7/10

Agreed, I remember giving it a similar rating. It's a perfectly okay film, but it wouldn't trouble my Top 50 Oscar Best Picture winners or anything.

ME , MYSELF and IRENE

In my 10 fave movies ever.
The 2nd half of this movie is Jim Carrey at the peak of his comc-powers.
the 1st movies i took notice of as a pup were Jerry Lewis movies , i can see the similarity.
Personal rating 9/10
Real-world rating 7/10

This song is the cherry on top.

Yeah Me, Myself and Irene is pretty good. The bit in the cafe with the Albino guy had me in tears of laughter when i first seen it.

Savior - typical Oliver Stone version of war - 5/10

One Hour Photo - Robin Williams is great as a creepy, slightly unhinged type - 7/10

Bug - Very chaotic movie and certainly not for the impatient - 5/10

Kick Ass 2 - 5/10 Disappointing.
Airplane 2: 5/10 Ehhh.
After Earth: 5/10 Not as bad as I was expecting it to be but still not great.
The Wolverine: 6/10 Decent enough but not really worth the time unless you want to watch an xmen/superhero movie I guess.
Devil's Pond: 2/10 Terrible, I'm not sure how Tara Reid get's gigs unless she is doing a few sexual favors here and there.

Godzilla

Visually - stunning for a monster movie; really puts Godzilla into perspective, although the action scenes left a lot to be desired. That's one area Pacific Rim got right. Plus the sound was horrible, all that screeching and shit was annoying, as was the plot, Aaron Taylor Johnson is just the worst. Cranston could have carried the movie by himself, such a more entertaining plot that got dropped way too soon.

Chef:

Somehow managed to get good reviews but this is as soft as they come.
No meat on this bone Chef and the casting of that Modern Family Spanish chick is as major a fail as I've seen for some time. 2/10

The Man From Earth- A massively underrated film that is one of my favorites of the past 10 years.
Watched it 3 times in 24 hours some years back.

Rarely watch a movie twice but just had to suck every bit of juice from this one.......even if the acting was a little hammy at times.
