Ever watch a movie through a handheld camera? I watched Hellboy II (2/10) like that and it made me feel sick.
Haha, not in a few years. My brother only downloads HD torrents, so i usually just wait to grab them off of him. Always reminds me of the Seinfeld ep when Jerry gets roped into pirating movies for Kramers dodgy mate lol.

Can be kinda very extremely creepy too tho. I saw 28 Days Later in an empty cinema. Freaked me the **** out. :(
saw the 300 film recently by myself in a smallish cinema was weird for the first 10 minutes or so. Seeing a horror film would be a unique experience in that setting tho!

A Walk Under The Tombstones : Typical Liam Neeson action flick, ex cop, alcoholic, goes on the hunt for kidnapper/killers/dismemberers of drug dealers wife, and a few others, i have seen worse, but just average 5/10

Edge of tomorrow.
I can't stand tom cruise but once again he has put out a pretty solid action flick.
Nothing all that original or ground breaking, but solid and entertaining.
Cool monsters and weapons is a prerequisite for me in this type of sci-fi/action movie and the monsters certainly were cool.

Try getting La Mer out of your head.
I liked the version they used in the movie. Was humming it a bit after the movie!

There was another song in the movie - something about being the second best spy in the world or something. Was also pretty catchy! :D

Gone girl - absolutely fantastic. Great cast and superb writing. I was literally on the edge of my seat. Always a fan of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' scores too.

Gone Girl.

Gripping, intense, thrilling. All words that spring to mind. Great script and the music was perfect. Lots of twists and turns you never see coming.

The Giver

A movie rich in ideas that didn't wish to take chances.
Could have been a Gattaca but unfortunately ended up closer to a Hunger Games.

5/10 for the movie it was and 9/10 for where my imagination took it to be.

Argh won't b seeing gone girl for at least a couple weeks. Frustrating
It's okay, I'm in the same boat.

I promised my Mum a while back that we would both see it together for the first time (she read and loved the book), and she isn't in town until next week. Absolutely excruciating having to wait lol.

Gone Girl - 8/10 - Good film, but Fincher should have made more changes, rather than be so faithful to the book.
