I brought Inside Out for my neice for xmas, naturally before wrapping it last night I watched it.

I must say it was really good, easily the best animated film I've seen in a long time. Shat all over ******* Frozen!

She had seen it before asking for it, and I'm sure 99% of it would go over a young childs head.

I feel it has been extremely well researched, with all the elements of the brain etc. and could even see it being studied in High School Psych. I enjoyed it thoroughly, might even have to get it for myself

Lived up to it's positive word of mouth. Well paced and beautifully shot. Stallone is in ripping form, he can act. Just because he chooses to play the wooden action hero, doesn't mean he can't act when he wants. Adonis was really good, believable. The romantic sideplot didn't outstay it's welcome.

Overall I would've liked a bit more from Rocky hearing more about his life since Rocky Balboa, but that is just me being a fan boy. Really good film regardless.

Eh. Was really excited for this movie, and although the movie had really good elements like the main characters, the cinematography, the soundtrack, the editing, but overall was a little underwhelming.

Thought it had some good messages, while others were a miss for me.

Singin' in the Rain

Outstanding film. It looks beautiful and the dance sequences are fantastic, and the musical set-pieces feel so naturally worked into the story overall. Totally infectious and endlessly re-watchable.
Have to get around to checking this out one day, Dave Stratton's favorite all time movie.

Think a bit more about it, Creed is probably the best paced film in the Rocky franchise, except the take no prisoners of number 4. A movie where you are never looking at the time.

there are no other teams worthy
I haven't even seen the Martian yet and i already rate it higher than Interstellar.
lol

In all honesty, Interstellar in itself, is not a bad movie , it just had some missing elements and seemed to try too hard to be like a Space Odyssey for new generation. I'd still give it a 6 out of 10 at worst. The main actor was only real character that you can make sense of in the end for me.

This is fascinating to watch. Oliver Reed teaching a student how a villain should be played. Shows just how much more than saying the lines acting is, and also how great an actor Oliver Reed is.

Awesome!

His performance as Bill Sykes is one of the most intimidating characters ever.

Takes a brilliant actor to make chops like that scary.

Force Majeure

A Swedish movie about a family on a ski vacation. There is an avalanche and the father abandons his family to save himself. The avalanche turns out to be a dud and there is a huge fallout in the family about the father abandoning them. I quite enjoyed it.

Star Wars 3 - my god that was so much better. Still I find the editing real poor in the series and still clunky at times but the film flowed much better. 3/5

Loved that movie. I also love Kristofer Hivju because that red beard of his seems to fit any of every period in history.
