Hotel Mumbai. Pretty well done. Interesting that they still don't know who was the mastermind.

I like the meerkat ads.Going to see Lion King this week.
I've been seeing more ads for it lately and its putting me off.
The meerkat talking just looks like one of those s**t ads where they make animals or babies mouths move.
Hope Its ok.

Oh yeah theyre ok. But i meant like where they make real animals mouths move like that baby on the A mart adI like the meerkat ads.
Yeah when I was younger seeing that weird priest guy with bits of the blob i thought "Oooh Blobby 2"Always liked this one, just a fun 80s horror movie. Its a shame it bombed so hard on release, its gained a decent reputation but they were never going to be able to follow up on the sequel hinted at at the end.
The Mist
Lord of the Flies meets Cabin in the Woods, without the conch or the class. Poor acting. God awful SFX. Underwhelming character development. Tragic ending would have been great if it weren't for the fact it was so out of character for the main protagonist.

Goddam. A whole thread for that trash. No wonder his account was cancelled.Movie - The Mist
Saw this today and I think it's one of the greatest horror movies of the past few years. Really interesting to see Frank Darabont take on Stephen King's horror after nailing "The Shawshank Redemption" and "The Green Mile". The whole cast led by the uber cool Thomas Jane is excellent. Plenty...www.bigfooty.com

I'm currently half way thru the movie MELANCHOLIA by Lars Von Trier.
Not sure if I've ever watched a film by him before, the name sounds familiar, yet also like I've never heard that name before.
It's a very engaging movie so far, a little bizarre, got a Tree of Life feel to it. (It would be hilarious if Lars also made that film, because I have seen that one).
When I'm finished watching it will post again.
sadface/10 indeedI can give you back an hour of your life.
Nothing happens then the planet smashes into the earth and everyone dies.

Brightburn (2019)
What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? This is a film that’s good enough that you want it to be better, and maybe an example of less not proving to be more (doesn't happen often in films). But Brightburn lacks the visual stylization, wit or satire to elevate it from the realm of a crudely effective B-movie. Throwing in some gore doesn’t change the plodding inevitability with which Brandon goes super-evil. This movie could've been so much better, but as it is, it's entertaining enough. This'll probably be a cult classic one day. 6/10
