Maybe not.

According to the Football Budget, Wayne Coleman was listed in the Port Magpies U17 side that played in the Prelim Final against Westies, 20/9/03. Coleman wore jumper # 16.

The word is Newman's sperm was so weak they used artificial insemination via the sperm of Essendon goalkicking sensation John Coleman. Newman's mate Wayne wanted in on the deal, and the use of Coleman's sperm required him being named after him...hence Wayne-John Coleman.

The mother was a Northern Territory Aboriginal. So there's your combination of Coleman's size and Aboriginal skill.

Jason Gillespie is involved too. I think he was the midwife.

thats funny! :D

I wouldn't say that around him, he has temper issues due to a childhood where he shifted uncomfortably between his mother's home and Sam's place, where he would inveitably deal with Sam coming home drunk and starting an orgy, while Eddie hung around shiftily and stroked his head and told him he was a 'good little magpie'.

Other memories have been repressed.

Anyway, back on point, he would beat you up for calling his conception funny.

Thats the Wayne-John that I am talking about. Apparently got best player for Port in the game. I dunno what sort of player he is, like what position etc, thats why I was asking on here. Crows talked to him last weekend again apparently.

If you want to know more about this bloke, you should contact the webmaster at the Port Magpies site.

Thats what I was thinking.

Ive never heard of him before as I only keep a close eye on the reserves and not U19 and U17s except keeping the results and best players.

But looking thru the U17s during the year he was named in the best players in Rounds 2, 10, 12, 14, 21 and 23. Only kicked 2 or 3 goals for the year so i dont think hes a forward or midfielder.

The AFC will be speaking to well over a dozen players that they may even have once dreamt about selecting. Most of them doesn't stand much of a chance, but it's about covering all bases.

I am not suggesting anything one way or the other about this guy, but because the AFC have spoken with him doesn't have to mean very much.

Gee they will have interviewed probably every player at draft camp + more, and followed up. After discovering the bitter taste at the bottom of the Angwin cracker, I am sure every possibility is investigated 17 times over :D
