He doesn't seem to be covering the amount of ground he did last year. He used to use his pace to cover ground and provide leads. So many times on the weekend we had no one to kick to at CHF.
He does seem to be hampered by injury. If so, maybe we should play him from the goal square. Would be hard to stop as a leading FF.

Does anybody else hate seeing Nathan Brown play at FF. I would much prefer him on ball using his talent to its full potential. Sure at times let him drift forward like Brad Johnson does. Ask yourself would Nathan Brown play FF at Brisbane. Not a chance and the club shouldn't force him to do it here. Such a waste.

While he is not 100% he should play from the square, I agree with you there.
I also agree that Rohde should play Browny elsewhere. He is now being double teamed so he should move to the HFF and roam between the centre and goals.

I think Browny definately needs to be moved back into the midfield.

We should give some of the new guys and opportunity to just stand there in the forward line and have the johnos and browns deliver it to them.

Bandy seems very clumsy to me. He also doesn't seem to be able to really solidly contest a mark too often.

Bandy best year at Freo was followed by a shocker. He got lazy and most Freo fans are diry on him for that.

Bandy had an impressive first year at the club, especially his first half. At the start of this season Bandy had a cemented spot in our side due to our lack of height. Basically he had to make a choice, try and join the teams top 6 elite players or just settle for a spot in the side.

I think Bandy's content with the latter. As an athlete he is brilliant, but sadly I think his attitude is the opposite. He has got absolutely smashed by his opponent last week. To play one or two bad games is excusable, not looking like you really give a **** isn't.

I recall that when he was recruited Wallet was considering him down back, not forward.
We've got people who want to play him forward, people who want to play him back, people who want to drop him. It's apparent no ones knows what to do with him!!

Bandy in the last few weeks has been one to really bug me.

why?

1> when he gets the ball he takes so long to dispose of it, often missing good opportunities to a free player in the 50m.

2> Can't take a contested mark

3> Doesn't seem to hit targets very often.

I dont know what has happened to bandy, is just him being Lazy or could he be injured?

Browny??? I dont know why Rohde would leave him there, thats three weeks in a row now. I love the way Brown can make time and create play, when we arent doing to well why not move him up to the midfield or even off half back!

Hes a lug. a big huge lug. Stick him in the FP where he doesnt have to think about where to lead or what to do.

Bandy stick arms in air
bandy catch red ball
bandy kick ball through big sticks from point blank range.

I think we just need to stick with him as a forward until two of the following Croft, Bowden or Wiggins are capable of playing as talls. Happy to have as a defender as well once we can run him into a bit of form. Played well against the Cats but has been down since. A critical of a player for us in our efforts to get the season back on track
