Whats wrong with Peter German ?

Whats the go with this guy . Did a great job with Willi this year winning the Foxtel Cup & Runners Up in the VFL yet he seems to be contantly overlooked for a bigger role - We get trumped by the Bombers for Egan , Looks like Laidley is going to the Saints - yet German is not talked about , any thoughts ?

Perhaps he (German) prefers to be a semi-autonomous coach at Williamstown in charge of things during match day in the VFL, rather than being an Assistant Coach at AFL level.

We don't really know if he isn't getting looked at for the job.
He could be going for the assistant job, i wouldn't mind German being a assistant since he has worked with a lot of the kids.

he is already employed by the club as our developement coach? and he is likely to be upgraded this year if he wants to be, although i believe he wants to stay on as willi coach as he had a fantastic year and really enjoyed himself. ultimately, the club and Peter have to agree and if he didn't want a promotion to a line coach, dont argue with the man! he is doing a fantastic job!

He has been around the traps as an assistant and as Head Coach as well.

Reckon it's Head Coach or bust for him, and good luck to him. Has done a great job with the younguns, really seems to have the lads playing for him.

Only an opinion but reckon he will have a very good working relationship with BMac.
