The last 2 games he has been running around like a headless chook. His positioning and timing seems all warped and he is turning the ball over nearly every time he gets it. Is it true that his attitude during pre-season wasn't great? I know it's early but he doesn't appear to have come on at all since last season, hopefully he pulls his finger out and changes it around

Hope he regains confidence and as soon as this week.
Likely match up this week could be Cupido.

shaggy

i know with this post i am showing my age and also leaving myself open to ridicule but here goes.
When i saw hargrave turn up at the start of the season with colour in his hair i was worried. It is the perception it gives. I remember last year with jordan and the dreddies and he started off poorly, pulling out of contests etc. I realize it shouldn't make any difference but the AFL is a tough game and i am happier for players to start changing their appearances once they have made the grade without drawing unnecessary attention to themselves. Look at spider everitt, and why he is such a focus.
It shouldn't make any differnce your appearance but i seem to see evidence of it year after year.
I hate saying things like this as i realize like i sound like a conservative old stiff, and i don't seemyself this way.
OK everyone you can now tee off at me.

Hargrave has achieved far more in his career with just as many setbacks as Wiggo. Thats why theres a different feel, we know Hargo can play, Wiggo hasn't shown that he can yet, hopefully he does

They are normal young guys, pretty full of themselves, feeling like kings, getting paid to play footy and be on tv. We live in the age of the cult of celebrity. This is enough to turn anyone's head, especially young men. They are a hit with the girls and their minds aren't on the job.

SO - It's a big challenge for the coach to turn these kids into men who recognise that THEY are responsible for the direction of the club, for the success of themselves and each other in the immediate situation. Is this going to happen? Do they want it enough?

Our senior players have to be the role models - do we have enough of them? Chris, Johnno, Westy, maybe Darcy... who else are the leaders who are dedicated to the success of the club? Many of the others look as if they are just going along for the ride.
