Cadel, Scott and 99 World Cup v South Africa come to mind instantly

I don't really care for the Olympics

First is probably still qualifying for the world cup but Scott is a very very close second. Awesome moment.

Cadel the other individual that stands out. Plus the 06 world cup in general. Win against Japan, Kewell equaliser with Croatia etc. Awesome memories.

There;s only been two occasions where I've been hugely stoked about being a Australian and seeing an Australian win or achievement/milestone. They're both pretty much the same thing.

- Australia qualifying for the World Cup in 05.
- Australia beating Japan in that first game of the 06 World Cup. (Feel bad for Geoff Ogilvy)
- Sydney hosting the Olympics.
- Cadel.

Second tier moments, that were great, but did not get me as pumped up as the World Cup campaign did.

- Australia beating the Windies in 95.
- Duncan Armstrong winning gold in Seoul. (Have thought of him as a flog since)
- Mick Doohan winning his first 500cc (Now MotoGP) title in 94. (Have thought of him as a flog since)

Beating Pakistan in 97 or 98. The one where Warne took 7-23. Prior to the match we had to listen to Akram talk about what Saqlain was going to do and Mushtaq Ahmed. Warne ripped them apart. And told them so afterwards.

Janie Jones winning Geelong Greyhound of the Year 2002.

Perkins winning the gold at Atlanta
Cathy Freeman's gold at Sydney
4x100m Gold at Sydney
Cadel TDF win
99 cricket world cup semi
undefeated cricket world cup wins '03/'07
5-0 Ashes win
Bradbury
Qualifying for Soccer WC

Scott's win is right up there. Ones in my life would be the Aussies 4x100 freestyle relay at the 2000 Olympics smashing the yanks like guitars, making the soccer WC, Bradbury, Cadel's TDF win and I am sure many more. Might edit this post later.

This is mine

Steve Waughs perfect day was incredible.
Aloisi qualifying for the WC made the hair on my neck stand up.
4x100 relay 2000 olympics, watching thorpy chase down Hall jr, I was 9 but remember it like yesterday.

Second tier

Cadel
Adam Scott
Ashes 05 (even if we lost, such a corking series) and then the redemption
A few others already mentioned.

Not mentioned so far
