Describe your hangover cure, to get you through a seedy Saturday or Sunday.

I've listed some common ones above, but please tell us if you have any other cures to get us through these horrible monsters.

Had an absolutely massive one yesterday.

Started with a huge glass of lime cordial full of ice cubes with a couple of Panadol Rapids. Then afterwards had half a dozen steamed dimmies with soy sauce. Did the job quite nicely

Funny I had a massive one too yesterday. There must have been something in the air on Saturday night.

I put 3 snags on the barbie, bought a lemon/lime powerade and felt OK for an hour.

But then that horrid feeling came back, and I was still sweating it out this morning (36 hours after last drink  )

If you can force yourself to do it, having a few quiet ones at the pub always works well, but often it just can't be done, so the main option is bacon & eggs and a ****load of water.

A hang-over is mostly due to dehydration, so what I do (not all the time) is just before I go to bed (only if I know wtf is going on) I'll drink as much water as possible and then usually it isn't as bad the morning after

drink half a litre of water or lemonade before you sleep (pass out) and the same as soon as you wake up. a hangover is a combination of dehydration and tiredness. works a treat for me every time, i do feel heaps better than if i dont do it.
