my god! im in shock cant believe they got over the line!!!!
It was definetly nice 2 to see them play well as a team, definetly a completely different team from the last 2 weeks....
they can play well when they want 2, lets hope they can play like this an better in the future...well done boys!

It's a very encouraging sign to see your team of alleged losers play like champions for minutes at a time. Although on their bad days, I think Carlton might make a lot of teams look like champions.

I think a lot of teams that finish between 4th & 12th over the season will show some glimpses and patches ... even months of great play. We will see which teams can deliver consistently and when it matters. I'm not convinced yet that it will be our Pies, but only time can tell.

It was good to see a whole team realise and remember that it's capable of putting together some very good football. Hopefully next week they'll also remember how to kick! Fieldkicking I mean ... they still produced a scary number of shanked, misplaced or ill-advised kicks, and often while under little pressure.

but they did have a great day shooting for goal. It's the most underrated stat out there - how well do you convert.

It goes without saying, but it's more fun seeing them win than lose.
