Discussion When Should Match Threads Be Posted?

It’s Monday night/Tuesday morning. The people who volunteer know that and if for some reason they can’t do it or need to swap they just ask in the relevant thred…pretty simple really. OPs don’t need to be complicated, just get them up.
There’s no need to complicate stuff for the sake of it It’s just a game.

The 2 Preliminary Finals threads don't need to be scheduled.

But as their creator, it's my choice about when they're posted. If someone isn't happy about it, I'd like to invite them to speak to someone who cares .

41 seasons and still alive and well. In the age of X , tik tok and reddit we are dinosaurs but still do ok…we don’t have 10,000 people a month joining the site anymore and most users have been approached a dozen times by a dozen clubs. Perspective.
Not sure that threads like this will make more people join.

Yes they do. And hopefully we don’t scare them off with whiny negative threads over a simple little game.

My intention was just a discussion, since its been mentioned so much around the place of late.

I don’t think allowing a platform for users to voice their opinion is a bad thing, more that it shows they are allowed to contribute and be apart of it. Not like this thread means something has to be automatically changed. I don’t have that power. Not like i'm insulting everyone that does create threads.

And no need for scheduled posts, if you can’t do it at the stated time which it has been for 20 seasons someone else will do it.
Monday night/Tuesday morning…if you can do that volunteer, if you can’t manage that don’t volunteer.

Some things are best kept simple, the old saying if it aint broke…

Some people make threads early Monday and no one is forced to post in them or anywhere if they don’t like it. In general threads go up Monday night/Tuesday morning which seems to work. Threads that go up late on a Tuesday lose us pages of activity which isn’t good either.

If you can’t get them up by 10-11am Tuesday just tell the admin to put up a placeholder threads and he/we you can change your ops over when you get them done. Again, it’s very easy.

Sure, no issue with that.

Just a weird comment that the thread is doing harm to people joining.
