This takes away the ability to do late-season match thread OPs that are contingent on goings on during the season. Some OPs must fall into that category, if not that gives me an idea for next season.

And those match threads will be posted on a Sunday if not before.

Everything about this is spot on. Why should other people's incapability to take a break result in you not being able to engage with the thread in the way that works best for you.
