Johnston is an interesting one. I get the feeling it might take him awhile to "get it". By the sounds of it he has the tools talent wise and also athletically, but the issue seems to be above the ears. If this is indeed the case, it could take him a few years to "grow" into a solid player.

I spoke to Luke at the Crows season launch tuesday night & he said he's ready to play. It's now a matter if Sanderson picks him, which he might be unlucky to miss out round 1.

I get the same feeling. I think Lynch is enjoying his time flying under the radar. Once opposition teams start to notice, he might find it hard to keep getting those easy ones out the back. Johnston seems like he would have more weopons. Maybe they're doing what many of us wish they did with Walker. Make him try defending 1st and learn some accountability. Just a feeling...

Wont it be great when and if lynch gets his fair amount of attention from the opposition defense, will only make us more potent, as Tipp and Tex get more latitude.

Yeah, won't play round one. Where would you squeeze him, and who is he possibly going to squeeze out. Some good form for the redlegs will see him earn a chance this year though!
