Apparently Jacob Gillbee is playing for Central District in the SANFL in 2014.

Good luck to him for the 2014 season.

Interesting fact. Those academy boys that played top up last year mainly Hay, Taylor, Weller, Mills, Trask and Ellis.
We know Ellis got rookie drafted, and Weller is training with the suns. But Taylor is modelling in Italy, Trask is in the academy still, Hay is with southport sharks, and Mills signed with Wafl team South Fremantle. Interesting for those who followed the reserves!

Worth mentioning one of the 17 year olds selected by the Gold Coast will be playing for the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League semifinals tonight. His name is Alex Keath and although he never actually pulled on the Suns guernsey, they did waste a list spot on him. Apparently he toured the facilities at Carrara and wasn't too impressed...

Also news that Liam Patrick has been signed to compete for NT Thunder in the upcoming NEAFL season. Not too many doubted it would happen but a relief to his fans all the same. A few chances to see his pretty face running around in SE QLD

So they now have Brennan and Patrick? Jeez, they just need to lure Steven May home and they'll have the full GC-NT collection.

Not surprising SUNS. Guess we've seen the last of Jars in Queensland then. Should be an interesting game when the reserves head over to Darwin in round 12.

Talk of Nathan Krakouer wanting to come back to Port Adelaide to play for our reserves team. I'll never forget the cramping specky he took in QCLash1 on route to kicking 5 goals.

Check out a "little" Sam Day towards the end of that clip. That was his first game if I recall. How much has his body developed since then. Surprised we won any games at all that first year.

Nathan Krakouer training for our reserves side.
