This post hasn't aged well.

Yeah it didn't.
He took a few good marks in the second half, nice handball through to Caddy for that goal.
Received some absolute charity that he's never had the pleasure of experiencing but he did some good things.

Must be playing quite deep. Saw a bit of round 1 but nothing since.
His possessions, marks and GA are down on previous years
Free kicks for and goals up.

How many of his goals have come from free kicks this year? Maybe half?

He gets free kicks because he is hard to contain tbh. You guys are having a good season without him regardless.

I guess he has suddenly become harder to contain this year then.
In his 4 good years with us 2014-2017 (50 goal average) he averaged 1.15 frees / game

This year 1.75 frees per game - early doors acknowledgment

I don't think he's instantly become a better player. I think playing deeper lends itself more to frees. Its not like he's at more contests or getting more opportunity - his marking numbers are lower than anytime in his career - even his rookie year.

I'd love to have a 26 year old AA quality power forward, but I don't miss Tom. He'll be great for you, especially in the absence of Riewoldt.

It will be interesting to see if there is any narrative when the Lions drop Lyons (as they should). He has been pretty terrible since round 1. Shocking yesterday and not too flash last week. There was a stack of talk after that JLT game why we got rid of him. I think the reason why has become clear.

Again this perception that other clubs have some secret sauce that we don't
He's got a contract til the end of 2021
All power to him
One thing I know is he won't be any faster then

Feel for him - prodigious talent. Multiple set backs of the same injury would be soul destroying.

Was my favourite of the first draft Suns
Sadly he got drinking problem , if not worth taking him back .
