He kicked seven on Schache (a forward). Today he gets a real defender from the Bulldogs and doesn't get a single kick or mark.

Yeah, we're not missing out on much. Let's get someone that can actually perform more than once a season.

Is anyone else hoping that the Demons get flogged on Friday so that May doesn’t get the chance of winning a premiership?

Lol, he acts like he wasn't driven out of GC.
Acts like he wasn't a massive reason that we never got to finals. Was a huge reason the culture around conditioning, rehabilitation and professionalism at the club was so low.

Him and Lynch both. Rocking up at the start of most seasons completely out of shape, sniping opposition players, and turning your back on the club when you are supposed to be the leaders is abysmal from a captains of a club.

A fish rots from the head down.

Lynch and May were given captaincy because they were our two best players. If Swallow had not been injured, he would have been the obvious choice back then too. Circumstances and a need to retain those two forced our hand. It didn’t work out, for obvious reasons.

It's getting to the business end of the QAFL season with the finals series beginning over the weekend so I thought it was a great opportunity to check in with a few of our former players in the QAFL this season. First off, Pearce Hanley has put together a solid year for the Labrador Tigers and might even be a chance to claim the Grogan Medal as the league best and fairest. The ladder leading Tigers surprisingly lost their Semi Final to Broadbeach on Saturday and now have to host Maroochydore in a prelim to qualify for next weekend's QAFL Grand Final against Broady at the Southport Sharks. Here's hoping Labrador get the win and we get another all Gold Coast QAFL GF.

Nick Malceski and Kade Kolodjashnij are also involved coaching at Labrador this season. Malceski as the head coach and Kolodjashnij as a development coach.

A conundrum .... May or Cameron ...neither deserve one so let’s all get on the Port train

Edit: forgot Dixon and McKenzie... is there a team without an exSun or Giant?
