went to the dogs vfl page for confirmation but they've just released the 2019 fixture so no dice - bit like our website a few years back and why I was forced to sign up to this dump to get all my news.........

Love Ellard as player, left nothing in the tank.
Definitely will be catching some games with Nicky G down at West Footscray. I expect him having 50+ touches a game.

some of the attack on the ball is extremely half-hearted - almost bruise-free - imagine belly or robbo in amongst this mob - even someone like clem smith.....
A lot of half-hearted efforts. I understand the conditions can be quite testing, but some defensive effort wouldn't have gone astray. Most turnovers were the result of ordinary skills rather than defensive pressure.
Jeffy hardly ventured from the goal square & certainly didn't go outside 50. Ed Barlow was the standout for Jeffy's team. I noticed there were 3 Motlops running around for the Wanderers, none of them looked to be close to the standard of their namesakes who have played at AFL level.
