Where did you finish in 2012?

disappointing yet again.

climbed to 2009th during the byes - best ever and then tumble tumble.
i missed all the early injury & bye dramas. they got me late in the season.

this years errors -
picking 2 rookies i assumed would play, but crows kept winning so they were never picked.
trading out players who missed more than 1 game. not a good policy this year anyway.

so i guess my thoughts need tweeking a bit.

6063. 3rd year playing SC and continuing to improve. Had a lot of tough luck early on in the season with LTI's, but came home strong in second half of year.

Mistakes were Rockliff, Broughton, Boyd and Kreuzer. Wasted a few trades chasing cash early on, and also didn't save enough cash for the final stretch

Finished 894th. Had a terrible last week. Won 4 out 5 of my grand finals but should have won all of them. Lost a few spots aswell. Yarran i'll never forgive you.... Biggest mistake was Stanton cost me heaps of cash and points..... Don't know how people did with the byes strategies but I fell like a grey street girls knickers. Need Supercoach 2013 to start.....

Finished 203rd overall, I think my best in SC is top 1000 so stoked with the season.

Coming second in the overall last week will haunt me in the off-season. I'd hate to be the guy who finishes 2nd overall.

8143 overall. A bit down on my top 1100 last year.

Made the grand final in all 3 of my leagues and won 2 of them (lost my bigfooty one though - Yarran and Martin, I'm looking at you!)

I stand by my strategy and most of my trades. I'm happy with all my selections and decisions based around rookies.

Like a lot of people though underperforming Premiums and Mid-Pricers, combined wtih injuries and suspensions, is where it came unstuck. Rocky, Kruezer and Martin come to mind.

Already looking forward to next year!

Won no grand finals either which made things even worse.

Where did it go wrong?

Well a ton of injuries didn't help. Also didn't have any of the breakout players from day one liek Dangerfield, Beams and Sidebottom. No Waters either.

Had Goodes until he was injured then got him back when he was fine to go. Wish I hadn't of bothered, he's past it.

Probably my best pickup was Zaharakis when he was near his lowest price. Started to smash it after that but of course he gets injured too like half my team did.

Starting with Mummy then trading him to McIntosh was a double whammy too. FMscL.

Onto next year now. Going with an under 28's team which will hopefully lesson the injury carnage.

Of the midfielders, Boyd finished the year ranked 6th for total points, meaning a "perfect team" would have him as M6 - how was he a mistake?

Despite have Pendles, then Buddy and hardly having a full team the final 14 rounds of the year I kept knocking on the door of top 1k, was 1050 at about round 15 finally finishing 3939.

What can I say had a brilliant year.

Great result! For me it was 349th overall. Not as many stupid sideways trades this year. Just a few trades that never really made up any ground on the top group. Congrats to all.

Normally finish top 10K, or top 3%. This year was in top 1% so happy with that.

Bad news is I lost the GF in my main league - after back-to-back flags I was aiming for a three-peat. Very disappointing. Undefeated in my other league but I hardly know those people so not as much fun.

First time I broke into top 1000 and finished 435. Pretty happy about it. Halfway through the year wasn't looking great but got over 2300 in 8 out of last 11 rounds.
