According to the newspaper reports about the Bulldogs it said that Brisbane had only 18500 members. Last year we were over the 20,000 mark. Why the decrease. Is it in Brisbane or in Melbourne.
Whats the club doing to sort out why the members have not resigned.
Is it cost, lack of Melbourne games. Any ideas.
I know its extremely dear in Brisbane because its mainly a reserved seat stadium.

From what I've read on the different Lions forums, a number of Brisbane based fans have voiced their disapproval at the rising costs of membership.

Isn't it true that you can become a member of the cricket club, and receive better value for money all year round?? (Danni???).

With only 5 games in Melbourne, and 1 in Geelong, you can also assume that some of the Victorian supporters have gone the way of "pay on entry".

Yes it is true Olmy - the Gabba Trust membership is only a little more than a Lions membership - it gets you very good seating for both the cricket and the football - use it all year round. Infact the Gabba Trust seating is some of the very best at the ground for watching the footy.

And Gabba Trust members are also afforded the same priority as Lions members when it comes to finals tickets at the Gabba.

I know of a family of 5 who have not renewed at the Lions this year. Their GT membership worked out at something like $20 more than a lions pack for the family. The only thing that bites with the Gabba Trust is the original joining fee of $500. But that is a once off payment.
