I thought after the superb performance of the Loins, sorry, I mean Lions, were yesterday, I thought this board would be flooded with praise. I mean didn't Bradshaw blow us away with his goal kicking abilities. Oh, and who could forget our superb midfield. Weren't they on fire. Oh and the skill, golly-gosh, EXCELLENT!!!!!!

The whole team should be condemned, whoops again I mean commended. When do the boys come back up to Brissy, who wants to come to the airport and greet them back home.

In the courier mail today they summed it up well ... our experienced players just aren't stepping up?? Simon Black only had 11 possessions, Aschroft, Lappin, etc just aren't making as much of an impact as they should. I don't think you can lay the blame on bradshaw, he was leading pretty well there and the boys just didn't seem to kick it to him. A few of them just don't look as though they want to be out there.

The Lions spent the first 5 - 10 minutes trying to get Bradshaw into the game. Jason Dunstall was the one that picked it up on the commentary team. He either fumbled the mark, or he was too lazy to bend over and pick up the ball.

Bradshaw insists on leading to where ever our other forward is, several times he spoiled Lynch. If had been the other way around, Lynch spoiling Bradshaw, he would have cracked the shits and gone and sooked in the goal square, as I have seen him do on many occasions, especially last year.

And why does he insist on leading up to the fullback line instead of doubling back, and trying a fresh lead?

Bradshaw is definitely a good player. However, he is definitely not playing at a level worth of AFL selection at the moment.

It's one thing to kick 7 in the local QLD comp - it's another to provide a useful presence in an AFL team's forward line. He should be left in the QSL for a couple of weeks, not just one to prove that he can kick goals against a lower level of opposition. He needs to change his game.

He is not timing his leads well at the moment. Neither is he willing to play body-to -body, and as brissy_lionsgal said, he is not providing much support at ground level.

There's this one chick I know, now she's not even footy-mad, but when she starts calling Bradshaw a "show-pony" (as she did the other day), you kinda know that things aren't right.
