Probably crying in bed. The weagles are finished. No way that Jod 23 or anyone else will be seeing this piss weak weagles side in the finals. I am looking forward to Jod 23 giving us reasons for the loss. Probably this comp means nothing to eagles people now. It would have meant everything to them had the result been reversed.

I wont make excuses. I thought the game was great, a good even contest. It shows that we can compete with shocking teams like Collingwooden without our stars. So it bodes well for the season once we are at full strength. And it is well known throughout the footy world that the WCE's have never taken the Ansett Cup seriously, thats why none of our players are playing.

What are wou going on about. I haven't had to take it so far because my team are going palces this year. And should we happen to lose, then I will be able to take it. But if we do lose a game, the Peagles/weagles won't be the ones to do it. Your'e mob who dare to call themselves a football side that discraced their state will probably be going to the bush in a couple of weeks to play a melbourne side who didn't get to the finals in this series, and that melbourne side will kick ass.

You cowardly dickhead 'play on'. You are typical of the gutless wimps that make unregistered posts. You don't have a team because you are a nothing. So your posts are worthless crap.

Ok, It's fairly hard to read play on's posts, since they are more in Jibberish instead of English but here goes:

How can you get excited about the Ansett Cup? It's just a test for clubs to try new tactics and to blood new recruits and see how they go. It's just a commercialised competition with a fancy sponsor. The real stuff happens in the 22 rounds, not the 3 qualifying rounds with the new rules the umpires use to trial. Some back to us when the real season starts!

Jod23, Eagles aren't very good. We were missing just as many players as you, most teams usually have just as many people missing and Saturday night was no different. Get over the fact to lost and get on with your life.

The fact is that while your team might be in the decline many of the teams around you are lifting and getting better. Deal with it.

By the way...why does being unregistered make you gutless?

When you register you give everyone the ability to respond to you points of view. You open yourslef up to criticism.
If you don't refister you can just come into the forum with a different name each day and never develop an identity. In other words you can run away from potential criticism. Now that is being gutless.

Ok so you had just as many players out as we did, were they of the same quality though? The only good player that was out was Tarrant (Excitement Machine). Apart from that the rest are relatively unknowns. Oh and dont say, well who were your players that were missing, cause if you do make me mention them most people know they are good players. Do you want me to mention them for you?

I'll list them for you if you want:-

Glen Jakovich - proven quality halfback, near best ever form last season.

Ben Cousins - excellent hard working midfielder, though disposal can be a bit worrying.

Scott Cummings - '99 Coleman medalist and was not doing badly last year till he hurt his knee.

Dean Kemp - The shadow of Bradley, early thirties and playing in his best ever form.

Michale Braun - proven quality midfielder for his young age (not sure if he is well known over east)

Phil Matera - 49 goals last year, 51 previous year. Pretty good considering he's only 171 cm in height which he makes um in speed.

Those were proven quality players which most people have heard of. The following are players that have shown a lot of promise or are just hard working players, which whilst not being the best performers on the ground work very hard.

Ryan Turnball - # 2 ruckman, carried ruck duties last year whilst Gardiner was injured. Can also kick a few goals. Also tries 100%. Used to be very good in early 90s

Andrew Donnely - hard working, good forward when placed up in forward line, good midfielder, good backman. In other words good allround player. Quite tall also despite his appearance.

Mark Merenda - Ok i dont know much about the guy but i had a look at his stats, in the past 4 seasons he has played 31 games (restriced cause of injury), scoring a total of 36 goals in all those matches. Thats pretty good for a person who has been restricted through injury and can never build up a lot of form.

Richard Taylor (Smokey) - 79 games in last 4 seasons, 33 goals in those games, hard working midfielder. Injury might overcome him though.

So there we are, thats 6 extra quality players with plenty of experience and credit, and 4 that perform well when playing. Now list some Collingwood names that match the type of players listed here.

Yeah, I'm sure you will take it. If you are that brave than register and take it, rather then hide behind that crap.

It is clear to me that weagles supporters think that being registered or not has plenty to do with the topic Where is Jod 23. So I shall make it clear to these kids.

Why register now when at the end of Feburary which will be midnight tonight for you eagles kids, I am changing internet companies as well as getting a new E-mail adress. It just means registering today as well as doing it the next day. As I am not sure what the new E-mail adress will be then I will not waste my time registering until I get this new adress. I hope this is easy to understand for people like Daddy-4-eyes and Frodo. If not then I guess they are always going to struggle through life.

Sometimes i feel sorry for collingwood supporters, they're all stupid, make no sense when they talk, and for some weird reason they are all ugly.

See play on, i can also go into personal insults. like it?

I notice you have ignored the question on registering. I guess that daddy-4-eyes has a good reason for this. Or has his brain gone on strike today? Why bother when tommorow I will get a new E-mail adress? You shouldn't have anything more to say unless you can give me a good reason for registering today.

Admit defeat, say that we were the better side and move on Jod 23. By your not doing so it gives people the feeling you are jelous.

Hey joffa, I'm kind of pissed off at you at the moment cause you are majorly wrong. If I remember correctly, the only thing I said prior to the actual game was this:

West Coast - Players coming back from suspension and injury should make a difference

on the thread about round 2 ansett cup.

Whilst other members may had been saying that West Coast would thrash Collingwood I did not as I never say much before a game. I think therefore you owe me an apology but I won't be surprised if you dont give me one.

So next time mate get your facts right before you go insulting someone.

What a dork, when you sign up your isp and email address makes no difference whatsoever. Once registered you can use a computer and isp in Timbuktu and still access your registered name. Try registering an email address with hotmail. How about playonwithmedik@hotmail.com

You should be insulting your team rather than me for the way they played. You are unable to admit defeat, {a great sign of the eagles virus} and until you do, you will be considered a typical sore loser. When the weagles are in the bush think of all Collingwood supporters and then our players and the finals they will be involved in. Then think about what a sorry club you have. You will have time at the end of the first half to do this as you will be the only one there. When the peagles win a game then come back and tell us all about it. Of cource that might take a while. Until then hurry up and move out of home. That family of your's are not interested in you anymore.

I'd rather lose to Collingwood by 2 points in some poxy Round 2 Ansett Cup game which means bugger all, than to lose by under a goal in the Qualifying Final in 1994 at the WACA where Tony Shaw cried his eyes out when the Maggies lost, and yep we went all the way that year

Remember 1990 in the Qualifying final when Peter screwmich kicked the behind that cost them a place in the 2nd semi final. The weagles lost the next week and we went all the way that year. I was kicking goals from that angle and that distance by age 10. He was completely responsible for the Eeagles losing that one. Another example of discracing the state. He let every single eagles supporter down. He has to live with that mistake for the rest of his life. Collingwood supporters remember that one well. If he was any good he would have kicked it. I just wish it had been in the grand final. If he had missed it in the grand final then no club would have ever let him play again. What a discrace he is to the human race. And the best part is that I can watch it again and again and again. And so can you GoEagles on The road to victory. An exelent video on the 1990 season for Collingwood.
