Do we overstate the importance of winning taps? Is ruckman more important around the ground these data?
Mate, I'm as open to bagging the Power as anyone ... but Ryder is a very very good ruckman.
Ling will be devastated.Free to play
I think thats the point. The modern day ruckman is a Grundy, Stanley, Roughhead type. Sauce is out of date.Maybe, but I still can't see any real value with Sauce around the ground.
Yeah he tried hard didnt he.Ling will be devastated.
There's a lot to like about Harry from the games I've seen him play. Would love to see him used in the ruck a bit more at SANFL level, to see if that is an option. I know he's undersized but with what we have seen from Sauce lately, and with Windscreens not being overly athletic either, he'd at least give us a different look in the square and around the ground.A 197cm, 19yo KPF. How long did we give McKernan to mature? And he is as soft as butter. Dear has absolute intent at the contest. The rest will come. Needs a few more years atleast before casting any final judgements.
Has some serious toe across 20m and would be up there with McGovern as our best contested mark. There's a lot to like about Harry from the games I've seen him play. If nothing else you know he'd make the opposition ruckmen hurt with his intent at the contest.
Ling will be devastated.
ROB, despite a strange gait, is far more agile. Is also a better mark and a way more aggressive player and presence in the packs. Those calling for ROB to replace him I just don't get, who is just a younger version of Jacobs, with worst skill.
And use your list properly to rest players during the season, so as per Jacobs they don't limp into the finals.
It is all about the damage done. McGlynn got up and continued to dominate our backline as all good (and even bad) small forwards do.Jacobs bumps a guy in the head and gets off yet Sloane is done for a spoil!
