I know the series only runs for about 10-12 weeks per year, but i am pretty sure that it should have already started. For the life of me i cannot figure out why they have not returned

I liked the panel in the early days, when everyone liked the panel. Last couple of years its just sucked though.

AND I REALLY HATE KATE LANGBROOK. -not as much as judith lucy.

Is house in its spot? or would that be the leadin show? i'm not sure.

I'm not sure if they are in the same time slot, as i said in my original post.

IF they are, although the shows would be apples and oranges, it would be much the same as comparing NRL and AFL which are clearly different.

there was an article in the Hun earlier this year, saying the panel wouldn't be back this year, but they will be doing the xmas special. they were all too busy with russell coight, writing their book, writing new scripts etc.

Does anyone remember the ‘Aussie Hurricane’ home video they showed once? Categorically one of the funniest things I have ever seen on TV.

Did they ever do a best of DVD or anything? Would love to see that hurricane thing again.

Main reason the Panel is off air in 2005, is that their production company (Working Dog) are making another feature film (previous efforts include The Castle & The Dish).

As the principal panellists are also working on the movie, you would've had to endure a season of fill ins on the small screen. That was also the official line why they chose not to air this year.

The first two or three seasons were good - funny stuff. After that it just wasn't nearly as interesting, for some reason. Some of the guests they had on were boring as hell....and bloody Kate Langbroek! Christ she was annoying.
