Going to try the Goulburn river on Saturday near Nagambie, hopefully get a feed of Yabbies.



Ah good to know, he says there's tonnes of them down around Naracorte in dams and the drains, not too far from Vic.
 
They are native to WA, they have obviously hitched a ride over to SA.


I think there are native species in most states, they're usually called freshwater crayfish here, not sure if that's an actual marron or the natives.

If they're native my mate probably shouldn't be catching so many of them. :oops:
