When Damien graduated from the USC School of Journalism some said that he may need to name the sources of his contentions. It was alleged that people may believe that what he writes is more to do with his perceptions and opinions than of those actually in the know. Sources close to him have indicated that ,while he will see out his time at the Herald -Sun this year,there is no guarantee that he won't be at The Age as soon as next year. Whatever happens he will do it in his own style,no proof,no evidence and all personal perceptions.

Truth and the facts are the first victims when there is a newspaper to be sold. I have challenged this guy previously on something he wrote about North, and he came back to me to say that he was a North supporter and meant nothing by it. I would be interested to hear how he explains his latest piece of crap writing.

On reflection I decided to write to him again;

"You are at it again I see. Greg Miller makes a qualified personal remark about where the future might be, and you disregard the context and turn it into a headline suggesting the NMFC is for sale. I have always regarded journalists to be unethical & untrustworthy and you have just reinforced that view. I guess if there is no story there, you just have to concoct one don't you ?"

The fact is, Nth issued shares in the early 1980's.

I have shares in the club.

All this means is that a potential investor could buy a controlling number of shares and then "own" the club. The shares aren't listed and don't pay a dividend. It would just be some icing on the cake for a major sponsor.

The story is 20 years old !

The only thing I got out of the article before I stopped reading was that he thinks Arden Street smells like poos.
I know my sinuses are poor, but I'd never noticed.

Good onya CiK. I've emailed a few of these guys over the years and ,although it is good they usually respond,they never admit they're wrong even if their reply contradicts their original article! As far as Damian being a Roos supporter, well with friends like this etc....
