Where to play Yze?

Could play in the forward line in the Dogs, but you never know with him, one of the most unpredictable players ever. Would be brilliant to have him playing off half-back like the old days but I think he could possibly break the game putting him in the forward line as Hargrave, Morris and the other Bulldog mid-sized defenders are going to have a tricky time controlling him, Greeny, possibly Bruce and Robbo, although you'd expect Harris to take Robbo or Nieta...Ah I remember the headlines for the first 10 round last season 'Demons-Most potent and flexible forward line in the league'...OKAY GUYS! OPTIMISM!

Up forward, at least there he is capable of kicking a few as he did last year, hes no longer hard enough or good enough to play anywhere else.

In the middle of the ground at Sandringham where he can learn from Simon Godfrey how to go in the for the ball and win it, rather than standing back and waiting for a cheap kick. If he had the heart of Godfrey coupled with his skills he can once again be a very good player.

Against the dogs I would say up forward. If he has another ******** game I think he needs to play in the ressies for a bit, regardless of this record he's about to break.

When is Yze going to get put into the twos? His performance on Saturday was appalling he deserves to be dropped. Other players have been dropped with slightly better performances. From memory I cannot recall Yze playing a decent game since Queen's Birthday, but I stand to be corrected on that one. One of the kids in Bate or Jones should come in for Yze. And on one other point after watching Murphy carve us up on Saturday, my thoughts were, where is Daniel Bell and why is he not playing?

He played alright in rd.22 i think it was, but your right, he hasnt played many decent games since the Pies clash.

Either drop him or tell him hes on a knifedge, it might spark him into some kind of form.

I would want to store him in the FP as we have had nothing happening in the forward 50. If he snaps 2.4, its better then giving away 10 metres on the opposition or turning into traffic down back.

Well it's obvious playing him down back is a waste of time, Murphy killed him down there.

When was the last time we played him through the middle? Would it be worth giving him a wing, where he doesn't have to be as accountable?

However, Sandy is rather inviting. He'd look good in their colours!

Notice these days gone are the days of all Melbourne supporters in unison yelling OOZE! every time he gets it now its something like "DO SOMETHING YZE FFS!"

As far as im concerned he can play for sandy until he show some heart and guts, i would much rather see bate, or jones playing then yze atm, which is dissapointing because he has been such a great player for melbourne over the years but for along time now has been soft and lazy. I think Melboune's main faults at the moment are our accountability and attack at the football, and Yze has lacked these for some time now.

Of course they're not dropping him. He's getting massaged towards the 'prestigious' consecutive games record. Why I don't know - especially given that we already hold it.

It's a joke to think that not long after Neitz pulls the pin Yze will become our games record holder after his last couple of seasons.
