Where to watch?

Possibly already a thread in it, but I'm on a bus in the way to the airport and can't search too well.

Heading to Melbourne and sadly my optimism towards getting tickets ended in being a tad disappointed.

As a result, the wife and I are going to be in Melbourne for gf day and needing a place to watch it. Not knowing the place at all, where is the best place to go? We are in a hotel bear docklands and want to get a bit of the atmosphere. Would also be good to be in a place that isnt too dominated by hawk fans.

Any good suggestions from the good bomber faithful?

Also, with a few days in melbourne what are some must do's or see's?

Federation Square always goes off. Pretty sure Young and Jackson's across the road from Flinders St Station will be alright too.

Basically every Hotel with a TV will show the game - Plenty of choices.

Mate, if they serve beer in Melbourne and have a TV - they'll show the GF.

Maybe we should have organised a 'gettin tanked' event for the GF; oh well....

Not really knowing what either of you are into.. there's an awesome cocktail bar called Eau De Vie.

It's not really touristy but it's awesome.

Yeah thought about federation square, but wary of the weather. Cheers for the advice. Will check out the cocktail bar. The mrs will love it.
