I think you missed him today. Where was he? Injured? I heard he played well in intra-club match.

Good luck for 2009, we really stole it. I think that would have meant a stack more than a win for us :o

Damn Straight, it stings but hopefully an early sting will do some good.

Can't answer the Simon Buckley question though, IMO he's solid but he's a long way off being a matchwinner.

I'd wish your mob luck but I don't think you'll need it...;)

Quote from NAB cup thread: "beamer was getting some intense treatment on his calf when he came to the bench in the first or second quarter at the intra club. im not sure if he played again and at the end of the game he was already in casual clothes. it didnt seem too bad though. he was grimacing a little but i think it was precautionary if he didnt play out the game. i'd say theyre just being careful with it and no point in him travelling, better to just get it right"

Woops :o, trying to do things too quickly while at work, boss is always dropping in on us....

Spoke to Moloney at the Youth Summit and he said they just decided to rest him on Saturday and that he should be playing the rest of the warm-up games. Buckley was also there except I didn't get a chance to talk to him.

he missed the game in tassie coz he was at my mates 18th. well not really the reason but thats where he was, throwing dirt on us from the window. i pondered about talking to him, but from all accounts he's not on e of the best blokes going around.

Don;t know about that, i've seen Bucks out, top bloke.

WHAT!?!?!?

Sack him now, throwing dirt. That's pathetic, surely there was a brick around there somewhere? Poor form Bucks.

Absolute crap. I'm a PE teacher and I have had many of the MFC boys out to my school over the years. Bucks would have to have been by far the easiest to chat to and unlike some others, he really tried hard to make the kids day a memorable one.
