Where were the tin-rattlers?

I was staggered by the absence of Royal Children's Hospital tin rattlers at Etihad yesterday. Zondor had $69 in loose change ready to donate but had to carry it all home. His pants were down around his ankles by the time we got home. Thankfully he was wearing lycra underneath.

And then to my amazement, he rang the Appeal hotline from my landline, and I quote, "Hey Sweetheart, Zondor from Big Footy here. I'd like to donate $69 but I'll square root it if it's not read out on TV."

5 minutes later, Effie read it out. Classic.
