So GC are going great but Carlton are a laughing stock because they lost a roll of the dice game to them away ?
Give me a break Carlton were very unlucky to lose that and they are well and truely out of rabble territory
They are just an inconsistent young team now and probably more structurally sound than quite a few others , laugh it up now while you can because they way the comp is flattening out they will probably be one of the few sides with enough talent to seperate themselves from the pack in the next few years

Living in the present brother.Carlton should be doing better .
SOS has constructed a list and not bothered to recruit a single small forward in 4 drafts.
SOS strategy is to get 1st round picks, or former injury broken 1st round picks.
Piffle. Win-Loss record aside, Carlton have acquitted ourselves in all the games we have played so far.
We have mostly 16 kids playing on our starting 22 right now, and no, we ain't here to please neutral fans with our style of of footy. We'll be fine
Understand the point of view but disagree. SOS has done a good job of getting quality in the door - remember he’d be recruiting talls because Bolton wants a game plan based around talls. Bolts probably hasn’t stressed too hard the importance of a small forward because he doesn’t value it as his game plan is this overly complicated nightmare with 16 195cm+ players. Finally a Carlton supporter that gets it.
I know bolten is under the pump and rightly so but surely SOS should come under scrutiny??
After all it’s his list build and so far other than a few promising individual performances (and all clubs have these)it’s failed to see an overall improvement in the teams performance.
Yep. The youth thing is wearing so thin it ain’t funny. There certainly weren't 16 kids playing today. Cripps, Murphy, Simpson, Thomas, Ed Curnow, Newman, Jones, Lobbe, Casaboult, Plowman and McGovern all played today. That's 11 out of 22 that aren't kids. Carlton were comfortably older and more experienced today.

Except you won’t get the #1 for a change haha.Another spoon barring a huge turnaround in form which looks impossible from here.
Look up some of the pre season videos....Bolton is cringeIt's been apparent for some time that Carlton could go 0-22 and many their supporters would have you believe they're tracking nicely.
If there's a more delusional bunch of idolaters let me know who they are.
They're coached by a pipsqueak school teacher who'd grate on you every time he opened his mouth. I'd be shocked if the players don't roll their eyes behind his back every chance they get.
Yep they are as confused and frustrated as I’ve seen them. There is not one ounce of natural play or fluidity in our ball movement. Coaches are clearly trying to have too much influence and it’s strangling the players. Then are the players not getting Bolton's game plan? Today Gibbons was constantly the deep forward in a one on one and constantly the Blues targeted him going forward.
Sadly I think another elite 18 yr old wouldn’t make much of a difference to our problems right now.Except you won’t get the #1 for a change haha.
The 10 #1s you have on the list aren’t helping the corse so maybe you’ll be better off

Cripps needs to come home to West Coast where he belongs where he wont be carrying the entire team on his back. Where he has Shuey, Sheed Gaff, Yeo, Redden to help and forwards to kick tooHave to wonder how much the 'Heroball' style with Patrick Cripps doing everything is actually conducive to winning. We've got a pretty fair sample size of it not really working.
Yeah, Cripps' stats look sexy, but you can design your setup so that he doesn't have to do everything. He's never really shown himself to be an especially creative playmaker, and his "see ball, get ball" doesn't really seem to open up a whole lot for others or bring them into the game, either. Perhaps some different tactics and a different mix of roles and setups in the midfield are in order?
They just dont know how to win games mate, its a bloody excuse, good teams find ways to winRichmond feilded a younger team than Carlton this weekend.
