A good run with injury: 7-8
A fair run with injury: 9-11
A poor run with injury: 11-14

They should go past Carlton in 2011, but have competition for a spot in the 8 from Melbourne, Port and North.

Although it is early days, and many of our fan base and getting excited about our pre-season form, we have still shown much improvement in our skills and game plan.

8th if we have a good run with injuries

I agree with the prediction but boy do I disagree about Melbourne getting up there.

Don't think they can make the 8 this year, but anywhere from 9-14th seems about right. Depends on how their NAB form translates into the season proper.

They are going to struggle in the real stuff with teams actually trying to beat them.

Their list is terrible, an injury to Watson and it could get ugly for them.

A succesful season for them would be staying out of the bottom 5.

Essendon will finish anywhere between 6th and 14th. Carlton between 6th and 10th imo.

So far it's looking like about 11th as a median or something (can't remember stats!), realistically I think that's about the mark.

14th. essendon have potentially the worst list at the moment. blamed mainly on sheedy & then knights promising too much too soon

apart from a solid ruck division don't really have any strengths around the ground

Trying to be unbiased, my guess is 9th. I think they'll pinch a couple of early wins and beat most of the sides they should, before tiring at the back end. We'll have a much better percentage due to a lot less floggings.
