The attraction of Adelaide oval will wear off soon enough and if Trigg and co are still in charge, the numbers will drop.

2) Crouch will be captain (after Dangerfield or Sloane hand the job to him at the end of the 2019 season )
3) Trigg gone
4) The following current AFC players will have won AA guernseys (some of them multiple times) at some stage between 2014 and 2020: Dangerfield (der), Sloane, Tex, Grigg, Crouch, Talia, and here's a smokey: Laird
5) We will have played in one (and one only) GF between 2014 and 2020. Our cross-town rivals will also play in one in this period, in a different year. We'll both lose.
6) At some stage in this period we make a controversial trade of a star player in order to secure a high draft pick. Fans will revolt.
7) In the 6 year period from 2014-2019, we'll make the finals in 4 of these years, and finish between 9th and 12th in the other 2.

Knowing our luck we will probably lose a preliminary final by less than a kick yet again in a few years time. But I really hope not. Hope the team can finally prove us for all the right reasons.

By 2020 the pain of not having first two round draft picks for 3 years will be biting. Those 6 players would then be 25-26 years old and therefore we will have no core like we do now. We will struggle to be above bottom 4.

We really need to win a flag in the next 2-3 years. That is why we have to trade hard this year and next.

2020.

I see us in the middle of a golden era here, Danger and Sloane are just hitting 30 and are superstars. Walker is at the peak of his powers and is rated like Buddy is and the rest of our midfield core is really one of the bests.

Defensive unit is very solid and Forward unit is very dangerous.

2 premierships between this time, rest were failed finals series. Draft picks we lost will have minimal impact due to the quality of that 2011 draft, but arguably cost us that third premiership (lost grand final, '18).

50k members with waiting lists (success does that)

Smart CEO, new board.

Dangerfield is lauded as the best crows captain ever, Crouch is rated in the top 3 player wise (Danger and Sloane are in the top 20)
