Where would your rather finish - 9th or Last?

If you finish 9th you dont make the finals.
You finish Last you get the number 1 draft pick and also dont make the finals.
better question could have been would you rather fbe Richmond or Carlton

Years of finishing 9th have taught me it takes you NOWHERE.

Lat, if your not going to make the finals, you want to get something out of the season ie. Good draft picks.

I'd rather be in Carlton's position than Richmond, both team's are rebuilding but Carlton is the only one getting something out of it, where as Richmond, going nowhere.

although we finished 11th and got Joel Selwood so it dosent always mean 1st draft pick is better.

If this is what footy has come to- people prefering a good draft pick than a semi-succesful season, then the AFL has to change the draft rules.
