This is possibly the most significant statement I’ve seen on this thread. It’s difficult to know as club strength performance on many of the noted performance indicators is highly influenced by on field results only. It’s actually hard to pin point when they actually were the biggest isn’t it?
Richmond obviously have always been huge as with Carlton & Essendon hence the big 4 theory.
To say who is the biggest out of that is impossible to say until all 4 are actively competing again.
The undeniable fact right now tho is West Coast have the most paid up members & with a waiting line as long as the Nullabor to join the club it shows the Eagles to be the biggest supporter base and most preferred club to be a part of in the comp.
Out of the top 20 highest attended games in history, how many involve Collingwood, how many involve West Coast and how many involve Richmond?Haha funny, why would you assume I haven’t traveled?
So once again, how are you gonna “guarantee” it..??
Your members were able to attend games and ours were not. If the circumstances were reversed your membership would have plummeted. We will see who gets the top gong next year big boy. We will romp it in. You are just a little offended that we are the best team of the last 5 years.Jeez acting like such a sourpuss and just be happy with 2nd place. There’s no shame in being runners up to the mighty invaders from the west.
Collingwood have a large following all over Australia. The largest following of any club NATIONALLY.2 Million in Perth, 2 teams.
5 million in Melbourne and 9 teams.
Do the maths?
What bs.Collingwood have a large following all over Australia. The largest following of any club NATIONALLY.
Richmond and West Coast are huge LOCALLY but neither club come close to Collingwood on a NATIONAL scale.
