Big clubs constantly get 90,000+ to finals at the MCG Collingwood struggle to do that, Richmond have done that the last 6 finals they have played at the MCG, Collingwood have only been able to do it 3 times in the last 20 years

Lol Collingwood have drawn 64 million people to their home and away games since 1921. Richmond 54 million since 1921. Could you imagine how far Collingwood would be in front if we had 35 year advantage of playing home games at the mcg. Also during the home and away season since 1921 Collingwood have played in 70 games over 80,000 crowds compared to Richmond just 23

But why doesn't this supposed massive supporter base show up to finals?

Preliminary finals are different. We played Adelaide in the preliminary final and it was a sellout in 2002. Again Richmond in 2018 never did not draw 72,000 of their own supporters in 2018
It was your first home final in 5 years! And you didn't even draw 72k of your own supporters, unless you seriously believe that GWS and neutrals combined brought just 500. Richmond has drawn 90k to each of their last 7 MCG finals. Get back to me when Collingwood can do that.

Strange then that Richmond has had the biggest attendance for 3 of the last 4 years, is in the top 3 for members in that same period, not too mention tv ratings being up with the best averaging over 1 million for each of the Thursday games played last year.
I would say its WCE, Collingwood, Richmond and Essendon at the moment.

Maybe but Richmond were also lagging big time when they weren't doing well. Adelaide seems to get crowds regardless of whether they're doing well. If Richmond continue to get crowds, ratings etc when they eventually bottom out then I'm happy to stand corrected.

By your logic every child in school is a waste of resources. Should we revoke the citizenship of them all?

Or maybe if you'd concentrated in school you'd have grasped the concept that time is a dimension, things change and sometimes in predictable ways.

Alas it seems you didn't and I expect issues like that have condemned you to a life of manual occupations.

Just stating facts. GWS and the suns will never be successful. In the western suburbs of Sydney nobody cares for the giants and never will. You only can get decent crowds when u play the swans, Collingwood, Essendon and Richmond because 80% of the crowd supporter those clubs. GWS get better support in Canberra. Not sure why the afl is wasting their money in a Franchise that clearly ain’t going to work.

Stating facts is exactly what your not doing. The opposite in fact. It could be partly outright ignorance, certainly some of it is simply lying.

Also Collingwood have had 70 games during the home and away season that have drawn over 80,000 people. Richmond have only done this 23 times but have played home games at the mcg since 1965 compared to the year 2000 for Collingwood. Richmond are not bigger then Collingwood only delusional Richmond fans think so. We have also drawn 98,000 to a preliminary final which Richmond have not been able to do.

It’s because you are such perennial losers and the novelty of being in Finals hasn’t worn off.
You’ve only played 11 finals games total in 24 years. That’s the lowest of every club besides Gold Coast & GWS. Richmond are 16th out of 18th for finals appearances. No wonder you all turn up, you probably can’t believe you’ve made it!

With that logic, Tigers are the only big club in Australia. Are Eagles, Collingwood, Adelaide, Sydney, not big clubs then?

Please explain why Collingwood lead Richmond by some margin in every survey poll and on social media where Collingwood have over 100,000 more followers!

Richmond are in reality can claim they are the 3rd biggest club but Richmond are now way near as big as Collingwood or Essendon as they are the only national supported clubs in the country.

Oh and since record of attendance’s started in 1921 Collingwood lead Richmond by 9.2 million during the home and away season. Considering Richmond had a 35 year head start at the mcg is quite staggering if Collingwood played all its games at the mcg since 1965!

I have no doubt Collingwood’s attendance’s will sky rocket to well part 1.2 million people during the home and away season especially if we get off to a great start. Our crowds did not pick up till half way through the second half of the year when we looked like making finals. Remember that Richmond in their premiership year only finished 21,000 head of 13th placed Collingwood.

Collingwood have drawn over 1 million people during the home and away season 21 times to Richmond 6. Essendon are even well in front of Richmond with 15
If they aren't paying they aren't really supporting, as for social media its hard to determine if the numbers are even individuals, Eddie may have 100000 bogus acounts for all we know, Essendon were selling $50 full voting rights memberships to make their numbers look good.
At Richmond our supporters have always dipped into their pockets as true supporters do.
Strange that Adelaide are way in front on twitter followers, WCE who we all know is well supported, only have half there number and have less than Brisbane, I wouldnt rely on these figures to show real support, as they show NRLteams to be huge, fairweather supporters that dont really contribute by the looks of the figures.

Richmond have made finals almost every year since 2013 while Collingwood played thier first final in half a decade and couldn't even draw over 80,000 lol

Collingwood has had a favoured draw for many years, the figures you have dont mean a lot when you rarely play at grounds like Kardinia park, right now the club with the biggest membership and gate attendance is Richmond, you need to lift your game at Collingwood if you want to catch us.
