With The Crows moving ahead with their new state of the art training facilities, and Hawthorns Dingley project moving along, and Ports new ones recently opening up, its interesting to see how the other clubs facilities stack up?
Believe it or not, a clubs training facilities are one of the selling points clubs try to sell to potential trade targets.

It used to be said that the Lexus centre of Collingwood was the best (I know the name has changed), and North used to have terrible ones that didn't even have a weights room if I remember correctly in the old days. I understand that's not the case now, and we definitely know that they have ice baths....

What are the other clubs like, and who would have thought best ones?

Having been to The Hanger I can confirm it is pretty damn good.

Waverley is past it for the hawks, but there are clubs with worse set ups. Kennedy Center in Dingley is on a whole other level.

Collingwood is good but limited for improvement, don’t know a heap about the qld or nsw sides. Adelaide teams should be able to have pretty schmick facilities given land prices.

It looks like every club is spending upwards of 100 mil for their training facilities.
That's some serious investments.
Richmond are doing the same at punt road along side the grandstand redevelopment and increasing the dimensions of the ground to match the MCG

Even with the soft cap the off field arms race carry’s on

Back when South Africa came back into the international fold, they held an international Rugby game at one of their big stadiums and the commentators said it had an operating theatre in the stadium if there was a serious injury.

I believe some of the NFL stadiums have quite well equipped medical facilities including xray, MRI and CT scanning machines

We aren’t at that point yet but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time

NFL stadiums are often located in the burbs, whereas Australian Stadiums are for the most part centrally located with multiple Hospitals nearby.

Even so, we are talking about diagnostic equipment that would be used for non emergency situations

If a player gets a scan to diagnose a soft tissue injury within a couple of minutes vs hours or the next day it isn’t really necessary

Carlton announced last year that it was building an imaging facility at Ikon Park with MRI, x ray facilities, CT scans etc.

Not sure if it's open yet.
