Which Emergency?- Geary or Bird

Hi yet another dilemma...Am trying to split these 2. Am leaning towards Geary. Do you think that Bird will get much game time?

Too close to call, Sydney arent noted to play too many rookies over the past couple of years yet I like they way Bird applies himself...................... will be only a matter of time but will it be this year? Bird by a millimetre

I've been tossing up between these 2. As Saints progressed further in the NAB Cup I was able to see more of Geary than Bird. The fact that Geary played the NAB final gives some indication that he may get some gametime come round 1, more so than Armitage who seems to have been the J Brennan of the NAB cup.
Bird probably has more potential but who knows how many games he's gonna play. Perhaps he will fill in for Adam Schneider who played maybe 1/2 - 3/4 of the games.

Still don't think it's enough to call him Brennan already, only 1 bad game

Sydney ass. coach John Longmire said in todays Herald Sun that Bird is a major conteder for a spot in Rnd 1

Those younger guys aren't waiting for injuries to get a go. They are knocking the door down themselves

Craig's (Bird) name will certainly be discussed
