Swans were already in front and even if he didnt mark that Swans would have probably still won. While if Goddard didnt takes his mark Saints wouldnt have drew.

Unfortunately the draw means that Goddard's mark will not be remembered in the esteem that it deserves.

But who cares what the masses think. To me, Goddard's mark was the greatest mark/moment I am likely to ever see, regardless of whether or not the history books say so.

Strongly agree. Eagles didn't have a hope, the mark, while good, is massively overrated. Even if one of our players had marked that, he would have been likely to miss. I honestly mean that. Goddard's mark had an effect on the result.

Leo Barry,s wins your poll but only because of it being a match saving mark

Goddard,s was a better grab

Royce Hart in the 1967 Grand Final has both Barry and Goddard covered though

Leo saved the game for the Swans. But Goddard gave the Saints the lead.

Tight call but I thought Goddards mark looked better so I picked him. Alot of what ifs for both situations, so it's a good question.

Barry's mark is stil a very good mark. Huge pack of people jumps infront takes a ripper. Leo's will be the more remebered, and is far more important because of the result.

Oh and btw, how can that eagle supporter (dajesmac) can say they had no hope of marking it. WTF why did they have no hope? Your only saying that becasue you lost the game. HTFU

Leaping Leo because it had the call to go with it.

Quatermain: "Leo barry you star!"

Will be remembered forever.

Sydney fans will remember their mark with huge nostalgia in 30 years.

St Kilda fans will think "Oh yeah, great mark, shame about the result" about Goddard's
