Is this a subtle troll???

In terms of "Importance" Leo's by miles....

and the poll (thank god) confirms it....

was it a free kick to Sampi? Never been mentioned before over here in the West.....

I wasn't really trying to discredit Leo. Just pointing out in the photo that Sampi is clearly being held.

Leo's mark is very overrated. Yes it was a great mark, but it did not 'win' Sydney the game as many have suggested.

Goddard's mark didn't win them the game either and there was still 7 minutes left to play in the game. Why is it considered to be so important?

If Kosi took that mark would it be considered that highly?

From that picture, it seems quite likely that Mark Seaby would have taken the mark if not for Barry, and had a shot for the win, so I'm not entirely sure how it's being overrated in terms of importance.

Maybe Seaby would have missed, but he didn't get the opportunity to win it for West Coast because of Leo Barry going up for an extremely courageous mark.

As for Goddard's mark... Important? Given the pantsing that St Kilda received the week after, couldn't you argue that they were better off just losing by a goal in the first Grand Final?

Would you really prefer to draw and then come back the next week thinking you still had a chance, and then getting smashed? Is that better than just going down by a few points the first time around?
