Luke Breust has a similar distribution of goals across the same period.

2012 45
2013 40
2014 57
2015 52
2016 47

2017 33
2018 54
2019 34

Patton to kick most goals if he plays all games and our delivery inside 50 out of center bounces improves.

Gunston is a gun but he is not our most important player.

Last year shows who that is.

Patton. Which is bloody exciting when you really think about it. Bringing in a player who jumps straight to the top of your leading goal kickers for next to nothing.

To be honest, I don't even know who was last year? Did we have anyone cross the 40 goal mark? Or was Breust it, at below 2 a game?

Best case scenario is Lewis, Patton and Breust/Gunston do a Buddy, Rough and Williams of 2008!

We've always had that - pretty sure we had Buddy, Rough, Gunston and Breust all kick 40+ in 2013. Same in 2015 with Rough, Gunston, Breust and Rioli.

One of Patton, Breust, O'Brien, Gunston, Wingard or Lewis is gonna get the 6th best Defender!!!

I cannot see any of our forwards kicking more than 50 goals in 2020. And that is good.
I’d like to see Gunston, Patton, Breust, and Lewis all kicking over 40.

I’d love it if a second small forward was in that group.. maybe the renaissance of Poppy... how good has Poppy been... or Ollie who shows great signs and now has to produce.

A third option is Burgoyne. If he was given a season at half forward, does anyone doubt he would create goals and provide multiple assists.

Which Hawk will kick the most goals... an Impossible question to answer as there are too many reasonable candidate.

Gunston is horribly underrated by the wider AFL, and unfortunately by many fans here. I remember a Bob Murphy article circa 2014 describing him as the ace in the pack of the Hawks attack, because his pace, endurance and agility combined with good size and strength meant could perform every attacking role. He has since played admirably in defence too. Im backing him in for 2020, he shouldnt be required in defence at all.
