Ok, i can just see the outcome of this already, but i wanted to see some opinions on this matter.

if you had to choose 3 midfielders from one team, would you take:
Hawks, Bulldogs, Carlton or Richmond?

I can't pick, except I'd take Hawthorn's last.

The other three are pretty even, depends how you rate Tuck and Cross.

Trick question - you'd pick none of the above, but go with Geelong's. Its streets ahead of the others in terms of star quality, depth, potential, and versatility.

Richmonds ????? Seriously, take a good long hard look at yourself if you voted this way.

Deledio and Foley are only getting better, and add one of the best and most consistently performing midfielders in the league over the past 10 years, and you have a dominant, classy and damaging midfield that knows how to find the ball. Scary.

Ofcourse, having a good midfield is as much about depth as it is about the starting 3.

Hodge is our best midfielder so why isnt he included? And don't say he doesnt play there cause he played the majority of season 2008 in the guts, round 17 was when he went to the backline!

This is what most people on BF seem to forget, he played more games in the centre than he did in the backline this year yet everyone thinks he's been playing there since debut or something. I wouldn't go so far as to say he's our best midfielder though, Mitchell and Sewell have him covered but I think he'd have Batemans measure.

My order would be:

1:Hodge
2:Sewell
3:Mitch

All guns though.. Hodge becuase he is as good at the clearances better by foot and kicks bags of 3 and 4 when playing in there, Sewell at 2 because i think his performance in 08 was better than that of Mitchell..

Judd lifts his teammates to another level and is the "most complete" midfielder in this poll.
Funny stuff.

I think you need to learn proper tenses. The above sentence should be in what is called "past tense"
- Judd liftED his teammates to another level and WAS the "most complete" midfielder in this poll.

The man is a shadow of himself. He would not have been in the top 5 midfielders last season.
