I’m surprised nobody has mentioned Tony Free. Developed into a really good captain and had he remained injury free I think he would have dragged the rest of the team up to his level.

King hit from Dermott Brereton didn’t help Free much either. A few games back he did his knee. I wonder if Brereton has any remorse or regrets. Remember the brutal king hit on Danny Frawley , all bc they were behind the saints at 3/4 time and he hadn’t had z as kick. Should have gone to jail for that one…
