These five are the only ones I'm confident every club in the league would pay at minimum 2 top ten picks.

That's because we were trying to get the deal done in day 1 to move onto the seedsman deal

And what a regret that is, why on earth would you get fomo on Seedsman, lucky you were being sarcastic, from all the pies supporters we're truly gutted. Well we are anyway, do you need any defenders, we are having a fire sale, you can have one to make up for the Seedsman deal

Would be my top 5. All should command at least 2 very high picks. I gave Bont the nod given his age over Fyfe and Lynch.
It wouldn't have been hard to extend this another 10 players. I do kind of disagree about Hogan being rated so highly (I think he's worth a lot - just not top 5 type levels). I think his most recent year has failed to separate him from the likes of Moore/Daniher and even Boyd is rising after his finals series. Cameron should be close to the top 5 and above these names in the last sentence as well.

Fyfe. Noone else close.

You might be confusing talent with trade value

Fyfe when fit showed he was best in the league - but he's a free agent next year

Clubs might be less likely to pony up fair value when they think they might get him for free

Clearly the OP was fishing for Bont, and he be close to the mark

Key forward wise - lynch for me by a decent bit

Regardless you never truly get fair value for the really elite players

Personally - I'd be selling the farm for Isaac Heeney and offering the lad $7m over 7 years

1.Bontempelli - best player in the comp right now, and is only 21. Could be GOAT in a few years.

2. Nat Fyfe - body permitting will be the best in the comp and heading into his prime over next couple of seasons.

3. Max Gawn - what would you have to give to get him out of Melbourne? Simply irreplaceable for the impact he will have over the next few years. Not even in ruckman prime age yet I don't think? Only just passed the 50 game mark

4. Paddy Dangerfield - second best player in the comp atm in my opinion.

5. Patrick Cripps - will be unstoppable once the blues can put a bit of quality around him.

Added a ruck and KPB couldn't think of who I would rather maybe swap Grundy with Gawn and McGovern is already one of the KPD only rance and talia are better IMO
