I have GWS as one of the best teams if not the best in the comp. You see what they do when they’re on. It’s at marvel so it’s hardly an advantage.

Hawks win 15 games and they lock in finals, 14 and Dogs have the percentage.

Dogs would still need to win every game to make finals if Hawks win one of the three top tests.

Dogs the front runner to miss especially with their lack of form v top teams.

Against GWS without Greene, Buckley and Kelly the Dogs are a real chance next week. I can actually see them winning out, as silly as it sounds after failing every big test so far.

Greene did not a lot against Sydney, Buckley is important but can be covered and Kelly has done nothing all year despite his talent.

GWS still better and Dogs lack of form v top sides a worry.

It's actually not that unlikely. If these results occur it'll almost certainly happen:

• Bulldogs beat GWS
• Bulldogs beat Freo
• Hawthorn beat Collingwood
• Brisbane beat Hawthorn
• Freo beat Brisbane

Any team that makes the 8 and catches fire in September can win it imo like Dogs in 16 & Lions last year.

We ain’t playing ladies and gents. And if we somehow miraculously do, it will be due to one of Freo GWS GCS doing a ‘22 Carlton bedwetting, or Hawthorn not being up to it against the higher teams.

Our smalls in the forward line aren’t up to it. Yes West has come on and Weightman has missed the season, but we need two more quality players there.

Defence is just a shambles. Some of our supporters think it is purely a game plan issue and not the fact that we simply do not have the cattle.
